Personal Information Provided by You. The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following:

Sensitive Information. We collect sensitive information that you provide to us such as your date of birth, details about your sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, political beliefs, and face data. We do not collect other sensitive data such as your social security number and bank account information, but they may be processed by third parties (such as Stripe, Inc) to process your payments, enable withdrawals, and prevent fraud (see below).

Purchase Data. For legal and tax reasons, we may collect data necessary to record your transactions if you choose to make Coin purchases or withdraw your rewards, such as your legal name, billing address (if you choose not to use in-app purchasing through Apple or Google), and redacted information of your payment instrument. To enable payments and withdrawals, we use third-party payment processors such as Stripe, Inc. When you choose to withdraw Rewards, you may be asked to provide sensitive information such as bank account details or tax identification numbers. This information is collected and processed directly by Stripe, Inc and is not collected, stored, or accessible by us. We receive only limited, non-sensitive information from Stripe, such as verification status, payout eligibility, and masked account identifiers, for the purpose of operating our services. Face data. We process your facial data (images and live videos) to authenticate your identity against your profile photos. We work with third parties to process the authentication, such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS. We do not store facial data after the user authentication process is concluded. We will require you to repeat the process if you change the first photo of your profile.

Geolocation Data. When you create an account on our Services, you grant us permission to use and store your geolocation data through the GPS feature of your device.

Third Party Login Data. We may provide you with the option to register with us using your existing third party account details, like your Google or Apple account. If you choose to register in this way, we will collect certain profile information about you from these third parties, including but not limited to your name and email addresses.

Content and Messages. When you use our Services, you share with us photos of yourselves, other additional information such as your bio and texts with other members. When you upload photos to your profile, we may automatically scan them using artificial intelligence to detect and prevent inappropriate content (such as nudity or explicit imagery) that violates our community guidelines. This analysis is performed by third-party services such as Amazon AWS Rekognition. We do not store the analysis results beyond the immediate upload decision; photos that pass moderation are saved, while photos detected as inappropriate are rejected and not stored.

Voice Mails. If you contact us by our phone numbers, we may record a voicemail to be able to respond to you. By calling us and leaving a voicemail, you consent to us saving that voicemail for a reasonable amount of time to provide our customer service.

We also may permit third parties and service providers to use online tracking technologies on our Services for analytics, our advertising strategy or to send abandoned shopping cart reminders (depending on your communication preferences).

In the event that we share your personal data for advertising purposes and to the extent these online tracking technologies are deemed to be a "sale"/"sharing" (which includes targeted advertising, as defined under the applicable laws) under applicable US state laws, we will first inform you (and update this privacy policy accordingly) and you will be able to opt out of these online tracking technologies by submitting a request as described below under section "DO UNITED STATES RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?"

How We Process Your Data Using AI

Some of your profile data (including photos) and texts may be shared with AI third parties to ensure compliance with our Terms and Policies or when you have been reported by other users for misconduct, fraud or violations of our terms. We specifically only share a) texts that have been reported as "inappropriate content" and up to 15 texts surrounding the reported text, b) all the texts within a woo session in which any text has been selected and reported as "low engagement content" and c) when you upload photos, they are automatically scanned by AI services (such as Amazon AWS Rekognition) to detect explicit or inappropriate content (photos that violate our guidelines are rejected; compliant photos are stored normally; no content moderation analysis data is retained after the upload decision). All information that is processed by our third-party AI partners (e.g. reported text messages) is handled in line with their Privacy Notice.

The profile information we receive may vary depending on the account provider concerned, but will often include your name and email address.

We will use the information we receive only for the purposes that are described in this Privacy Notice or that are otherwise made clear to you on the relevant Services. Please note that we do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your personal information by your third-party account provider. We retain only the data necessary to meet legal retention requirements. Specifically, we store transaction records for 7 years to satisfy tax and accounting obligations; credit card information for as long as a user may dispute a transaction; traffic data and system logs for one year in accordance with data-retention laws; and records of user consents for five years to demonstrate and document compliance with applicable legal requirements.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

9. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

10. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. 11. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

In Short: Depending on your state of residence in the US you have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information. You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time, depending on your state of residence.

In some regions, you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure; (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; (iv) if applicable, to data portability; and (v) not to be subject to automated decision-making. In certain circumstances, you may also have the right to object to the processing of your personal information. You can make such a request by contacting us by using the contact details provided in the section "HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?" below.

We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Withdrawing your consent: If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, which may be express and/or implied consent depending on the applicable law, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by using the contact details provided in the section "HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?" below.

If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can:

Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate your account and remove your profile from the app. We will remove profile content from our active databases (for example, your photos, prompts, and profile details). However, we may retain limited records in our files to (a) help prevent fraud/abuse, (b) troubleshoot problems, (c) assist with investigations, (d) enforce our legal terms, and/or (e) comply with applicable legal and tax requirements. These retained records may include interaction history such as passes/blocks and certain system/security logs. If you later sign in again using the same email or the same third‑party login provider (for example, Google or Apple), we may reactivate your account identifier and your previous passes/blocks may still apply.

Cookies and similar technologies: Most Web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove cookies and to reject cookies. If you choose to remove cookies or reject cookies, this could affect certain features or services of our Services.

12. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser DNT signals. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.
